how to remove ikee ~

Steps to remove the Ikee virus 

1. If you haven’t already installed mobile terminal via Cydia, do so.
2. Reboot your iPhone.
3. Run mobile terminal, and at the prompt, type su.
4. The default password is alpine (unless you’ve already changed it).
5. Type in the following commands one line at a time, end press return after each line.
   You may get messages such as No such file or directory – but that’s fine, different variants may leave behind different files.

   rm /bin/poc-bbot
   rm /bin/sshpass
   rm /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ikey.bbot.plist
   rm /var/lock/bbot.lock
   rm /var/log/youcanbeclosertogod.jpg
   rm /var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg
   rm /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.saurik.Cydia.Startup.plist
   rm /usr/libexec/cydia/startup
   rm /usr/libexec/cydia/startup-helper
   rm /usr/libexec/cydia/startup.so

6. When you’re done, reboot your iPhone.
7. Now, change your wallpaper to something cool. You should be free of Rick’s ghost now.
8. Follow the steps below to prevent getting hacked again.

Steps to change your iPhone root password (and minimize being hacked)

1. Start mobile terminal (download and install via Cydia if you haven’t done so yet).
2. Type su.
3. Enter alpine as the password.
4. At the prompt, type passwd.
5. Enter your new root password. DO NOT FORGET THIS!
6. Enter the same password again.
7. You should now be secure from viruses that use the default password to hack into your phone.

what is ' ikee ' !

ikee is basically a worm which infects an iPhone via SSH. Once an iPhone has been infected by ikee, It automatically starts searching for other iPhone’s on the cellular network that use the root:alpine username/password combination. Once it finds another vulnerable iPhone, it installs itself and begins the process again and this goes on like a nuclear chain reaction. ikee virus will disable SSH access on your iPhone and will change the background image to that of “Rick Astley” 

The Ikee Virus Summarized

• This is the first virus for the iPhone.
• Some Aussie dude named Ashley created this virus as a proof-of-concept (what an ass).
• It only affects jailbroken phones.
• Symptoms: your iPhone wallpaper changes to show a picture of Rick Astley, accompanied by the text Ikee is never gonna give you up.
• There are 4 variants of the Ikee virus as of this moment – all of which can be removed with a bit of effort.

we wanted to watch 'Sherlock Holmes' so...

we went out to Pavilion to buy the movie tickets....

there were so many people there so when we reach the cinema there 

already selling fast so we don't think there will be 

any good seats for us though >.>"

so we went to Time Square to see our luck there...

sigh ~ there only leave 1 seat only... so cham la !

so we walk around Time Square then go to

Sungai Wang to had our lunch there.

then go shopping there but didn't bought any things though...

then we go back to Time Square there cos darling wanted to do tattoo ~

sadly is that we sit there for around 1 or 2 hours there,

the artist drawn the tattoo dy but when ask bout the cost that time....

wow ! cost RM500 for a tattoo... kinda expensive though >.<"

so didn't get the tattoo then we go to KLCC to see got the movie tickets anot.

sigh~ no tickets again !!

so we chose to watch  " The Vampire's Assistance "

these movie kinda nice though... very funny !! =]

much more better then Twilight New Moon lor....

four of us when up to the 'look out point' to had our dinner,

up there were so crowded, no place to park our car

we park our car along the road side and walk up the hill...

when we reach the hill, the restaurant that we wanted to had 

our dinner were full !!   damn ~

so we change to another restaurant near by there call 'heaven' ~

the food there kinda expensive lor >.<"

the best thing is i met an old friend of mine there though...

my primary school class mate.

last time he look very big ~ (sorry ! mate =])

but now.... wow! he look very fit and good looking too =]

okay...

after our dinner we when down and back to home...

on the way back we decided to go 'pasar malam'

but when we pass by 'wangsa walk' i thought i saw the cinema there were open dy,

so we change our location and go there to have a look....

sigh ! we're disappointed ~

we then go to 'carrefour express' to buy some snacks and beer to celebrate at home...

this afternoon after assessment, when to Jusco, Wangsa Maju to do some grocery shopping with my class mates for their Genting trip tomorrow....so sad T.T i can't join them with this trip, cos this Sunday i'm flying to Bali so can't join them to do crazy things at Genting.... Wuuuuuuu ~ but anyway, i hope they will had a great and awesome trip up there =] and i also hope that my Bali trip will be a fun and exciting trip... cos i already feel very excited ! yea ! ♥ ♥ ♥
